Kaduna Business School Hosts Dakuku Peterside for Leadership Dialogue, Book Signing

Kaduna Business School has announced plans to host Dr. Dakuku Peterside, a renowned expert in public sector turnaround, public policy, and crisis leadership, for a book-signing and interactive dialogue titled “Unlocking Leadership: Beyond the Horizon.”

The leadership event, scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2026, will be held at the Kaduna Business School campus in Kaduna. The announcement was made in a statement issued by Haggai Danjuma.

According to the statement, the interactive dialogue will focus on practical leadership strategies for managing uncertainty, complexity, and crisis in both public and private sector organisations. The session will draw from Dr. Peterside’s extensive experience in governance, public policy reform, and institutional leadership.

Dr. Peterside is a former Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and a former chairman of the Association of African Maritime Administrations (AAMA). He has over 20 years of experience in public sector leadership, governance, and policy development.

He holds a doctorate in Organisational Behaviour with a specialisation in Corporate Political Strategy. He has facilitated executive sessions on public policy and public sector reforms at Lagos Business School and currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at several leading business schools in Nigeria.

The former NIMASA boss recently unveiled two leadership books, Leading in the Storm and Beneath the Surface, both of which have attracted national and international acclaim. Leading in the Storm has been endorsed by professors from Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management as an essential read for leaders navigating complex challenges in corporate and public life.

During the Kaduna Business School event, Dr. Peterside will share key insights from his books and offer guidance on effective leadership, crisis management, and sustainable impact in professional settings.

The statement further noted that Dr. Peterside has delivered public lectures in 19 countries over the past decade and is currently a two-year fellow at the Centre for Pan African Studies, African University of Science and Technology, Abuja, where his research focuses on leadership legacy, the business–policy interface, and corporate crisis management.

Danjuma added that the leadership dialogue provides participants with valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and discussions on the processes that drive successful and ethical leadership.
